"A Proposition for the pursuit of planetary unity for the next Millennium"

About the Book

Life is not created by accident, nor is it meant to be lived by accident.  On this planet we are not given our human individuality just to exist for a while and then disappear into nonexistence, but that we might question what is the purpose of life.  To live without understanding is mindless and a waste of time.  The riddle of life surrounds us, and we were given intelligence in order to solve it.  If we do not discover the sphere of our higher spiritual nature and apply what we learn in our daily lives, we may begin to experience life as a meaningless entity, with nothing to offer.  It is most dispiriting, to say the least, that the lack of a moral purpose is a common trait in the lives of even the most progressive people of today.  To challenge anyone to question his reality, of which often is bonded in the belief system of fear and lack, is generally met with annoyance and resentment.  It is difficult if not impossible to findAuthor Nelson J Parnell meaning in life based on our external world alone.  Let us always remember that the Creator is ever greater than any of his creations.

About the Author

Nelson J. Parnell was born April 21, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from what is now called Emporia State University in May of 1972, just three weeks after his twentieth birthday with a BA in Sociology and minor in Psychology. After spending that summer back in Wichita, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1993, he was in a conversation with a friend by the name of Brenda Stidham. Spirituality was the topic, and at that time a seed was planted to start this journey.  He started off reading the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation and taking notes thereof.  After that, he read the Koran, and continued on with the Bhagavah Gita, the Lotus Sutras, Upanishads, Kabala, and several other great books.  The quest was to find out what all the major teachings could agree upon.  What do they have in common?  Only a relative and fortunate few continue until the moment of death exploring the mystery or reality, ever expanding, refining, and redefining their understanding of the world and what is true.  One important thing to remember is that if you don’t have a clear definition, you don’t have direction.
